Lionsgate has released The Expendables 2 New Teaser Trailer! You can watch The Expendables 2 New Teaser Trailer below. Directed by Simon West, The Expendables 2 stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger and is described as follows:

The Expendables are back and this time it's personal...

Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), Lee Christmas (Lee Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) -- with newest members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard -- are reunited when Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job. The task looks like an easy paycheck for Barney and his band of old-school mercenaries. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and shutting down an unexpected threat in the nick of time - six pounds of weapons-grade plutonium; enough to change the balance of power in the world. But that's nothing compared to the justice they serve against the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother.

That is done the Expendables way....

Indiana Jones 5 Update

Indiana Jones 5 Update

Offered by George Lucas
Source: Vulture , Entertainment Weekly

Dear all Indiana Jones fans!
The update news is that Indiana Jones 5 film is still in the works. The bad news is that no one's sure exactly how long it's going to take to see the light of day. Although Steven Spielberg recently told Entertainment Weekly that he and George Lucas had decided on a genre for a fifth adventure, Vulture caught up Lucas last night and learned that the story is still missing a crucial element: the MacGuffin.

"I mean, I know what it's about," Lucas said, "but I just have to find a MacGuffin that fits into the arena we're working in."

A term popularized by Alfred Hitchcock, a MacGuffin refers to a narrative element that drives the story forward on Indiana Jones 5. The Indiana Jones series is famous for making the MacGuffin the object of Dr. Jones' search. In the first film, it's the Ark of the Convenant, the second the Sankara Stones, the third the Holy Grail and the most recent the Crystal Skull.

Dan Gilroy to Write Stan Lee's The Annihilator

Source : Magic Storm Entertainment

Screenwriter Dan Gilroy has signed on to pen The Annihilator (working title) for Magic Storm Entertainment. CEO Eric Mika has announced that Gilroy would introduce a new Stan Lee superhero of Chinese heritage to global audiences with the company's first film project. Based on an original Stan Lee's POW! Entertainment treatment acquired by Magic Storm Entertainment, the story chronicles a young man who is given a second chance as an international superhero and returns home to mete out justice.

"Words can't express how excited I am about this project. It's based on the most incredibly original and unique superhero I've created in a long time," said Stan Lee. "Best of all, we're excited to be working with a writer as talented as Dan Gilroy to helm the script. I expect the startling saga of our hero, The Annihilator, to become one of the most talked-about and popular franchises for a new generation worldwide!" Stan Lee exclaimed.

Gilroy's most recent international box office success includes Disney's Real Steel. As an established filmmaker of over twenty years, his credits include Universal's Two for the Money, starring wife Rene Russo and Al Pacino, as well as The Bourne Legacy, currently in production.

"Stan's created a ground-breaking superhero for our globalized world. The story spans cultures and continents in thrilling, character-driven style. Stan is straight-up at the top of his game and it's a joy to have a hand in bringing this to the screen," said Gilroy.

"We could not be more pleased than to have Dan Gilroy come aboard to write this exciting script for our film," said Eric Mika, CEO of Magic Storm Entertainment. "Dan's knowledge and creative mind will undoubtedly create a strong base for a new franchise to the super hero genre world-wide."

Michael Bay Planning to Direct for Transformers 4

Source : Vulture

Michael Bay will be back behind the lens for a fourth Transformers film, Vulture reports. He's said to be close to finalizing a deal with Paramount Pictures and will likely begin work after shooting his smaller-budgeted passion project, Pain and Gain.

Word of a fourth entry in the blockbuster franchise first popped up in October, suggesting that Shia LaBeouf is unlikely to return in a leading role and that a fourth and fifth film could be shot back-to-back. Those reports remain unconfirmed.

Just yesterday, a report suggested that Bay is close to locking his leading men for the dark crime comedy with Dwayne Johnson and Mark Wahlberg. Because of it's significantly smaller scale, Pain and Gain is planned for a shoot towards the beginning of 2012, leaving the end of the year open for work on a fourth Transformers.

UPDATE: Michael Bay posted the following response to the above report on his official site:

"Right now I'm not decided on Transformers 4

Studio's are passing rumors but I'm not sure what I'm doing? I know I'm going to do Pain and Gain early spring but that's it for right now. I'm leaving all my options on the table. I've got several Studio meetings in the next two weeks."
